That’s right, through Monday (9/1/08) we will be knocking 20% off all the bikes in the shop. So if you were thinking of picking up a new bike to get to class, or fight the high gas prices and ride to work, now is a great time to do it.

Well, we’re in the home stretch of summer, it’s still toasty out, but school is just around the corner (and you know you want a sweet Chrome bag to hold all your books). That being said, there’s no better time to stop by the shop and get yourself ready for the fall. We’ve been getting new shipments in like crazy the past couple weeks, and it’s going quick.

We’re also doing free ride shuttles every Thursday night. All we ask for is a $10 gas donation. Give us a call for details.

In unrelated yet equally cool news, this year’s Pedal/Paddle was a blast, and in the spirit of frienly competition, we have a pot going for next year’s race. The challenge is to ride up and then down the river on a bike (modified however you need, it just needs to be pedal powered), and the winner will take home some cash. So I know this is kind of short notice, but there will be a Norco demo out at the Velopark in Eagle tonight (7/14) from 6 to 9. Come check out and ride some of Norco’s newest bikes.

We just got a huge shipment of Jamis bikes including some Citizen hybrids, some more Trail X3s and some road bikes. Stop by the shop and check them out!

Dave Barclay took first place in the 45 - 49 expert class at Deer Valley last week. Brent Maschmann had an amazing run, too, and took a third in the 35 - 39 expert class after showing up that very morning and only two runs of practice.

In other news, the van is up and running better than ever, and we will be running shuttles Thursdays and Sundays, depending on how many riders show up. Suggested fuel donation of ten dollars. Beer is additional.

We’ve got a bunch of last year’s BMX stuff on sale, including some Fit and S&M bars, tires and other random stuff. There is also a pair of last years Lotek Troops in 11 Blue that have been marked down, and come with a free copy of the Lotek Mixtape video.
